Welcome to the Home of Winner's Edge Lacrosse on the Web!

Players and Parents,

My experience has shown me that passion and perseverance may be more important than sheer talent.  For those looking to improve their performance through a deeper understanding of the game of girls lacrosse, look no further.  Winner's Edge offers camps, clinics, and indoor leagues to help you reach your full potential.  Through a commitment to customers as part of our lax family, we will raise the expectations of players and parents alike.

Building off of my past success as a coordinator of camps and clinics and Club Director, I will continue the type of hands-on approach that you have come to expect.  I value the relationships that I have built with the girls lacrosse players, parents, and coaches of Western Pennsylvania and hope to have earned your business.

Look around and feel free to contact me with any questions.  We have a lot of programming to offer and an awesome staff who will make sure that learning and fun are a part of every event.

Join us to gain the Winner's Edge!

Yours in lacrosse,
Becky Luzier

Winner's Edge Lacrosse Winter Indoor Weather Statement

Attention Players and Team Admins,

As we all prepare for a winter storm whose forecast seems to change by the hour, below is what we are doing at Winner's Edge to be as proactive as possible for Sunday's scheduled winter indoor session. Any questions can be directed to our Programming Director Becky Luzier at between now and Sunday and to our On-Site Coordinator Brian Kattan on 1/20 at

Winner's Edge Winter Indoor League will remain on as scheduled as long as Printscape Arena is open and operational. Any announcements about a closure on their part will be posted on their website (click here) or Facebook Page (click here). Unless an announcement is posted by Printscape that says the facility is closed or delayed in opening, the league will run as scheduled on 1/20. These links and this message as a whole has been posted on our main landing page at so families can easily access the most up-to-date info about the facility on Sunday. It is our experience that facility closure is EXTREMELY rare, but in the event that a closure does occur, the league will pick up with our schedule for Sunday at whatever time the facility opens. So if the facility opens at 8am for example, we would resume with the next scheduled game after that opening time, which would in this case be the 8:40am game. In the event of actual lost games, I will work with individual teams affected to replace the playing opportunity at a later date, but we do not anticipate this happening due to the likelihood of Printscape to remain open based on the forecast for the South Hills.

In order to attempt to accommodate the North Hills teams as much as possible, since they seem to be the most likely to get the lion's share of the snow on Saturday and overnight into Sunday, we have updated the schedule to move the earlier games including North Hills games to later slots in the schedule. This move affected the teams playing at 8:40am, 9:30pm, 12:00pm, and 12:50pm ONLY.  The coaches of all affected teams were notified of this possible change in advance of the schedule change to give everyone a head's up that we were attempting to make changes to give everyone the best chance possible of getting their games in this Sunday and the schedule has been updated on our website HERE.

We know that no matter what changes we make to the schedule there is always the chance that some people will not make the drive to their Sunday games, but we are attempting to control what we can as we all wait to see what will actually happen weather-wise this weekend. Players and coaches should be prepared to play modified games as needed and there will likely be the chance for field players and goalies to get extra games in if they see the game after theirs is light on participants. Our staff will be proactive in assisting everyone to have the best experience possible within the confines of the things we can control.

I thank you all for supporting our league and cross my fingers as I write this that the forecasts bear out in our favor and wish everyone a safe weekend.

Why Play 7 V 7 Lacrosse In the Offseason?

Six Key Benefits of Playing 7 V 7 Lacrosse This Offseason

1) Played in a confined playing area forces quicker decision making, confidence under pressure and sharper stick skills.

2) Missed passes and shots result in a rebound, so there is NO stoppage in play.

3) Small space teaches players to fake & finish.

4) Better Body Defense — players learn to play defense with good positioning and footwork without over relying on stick checks

5) Unlike field lacrosse, players play on both sides of the ball and develop complete skills

6) Smaller roster requirements mean Varsity-level players play against Varsity-level players and the same goes for JV.
